Shitty matchup, sloppy play, etc== snoozeville

The Big Bang Theory > Texans/Jaguars I'm just as likely to watch a college game as I am to watch an NFL game, on Thursdays only.

You watch BBT?

I mean, really, can anyone say the games on Thursday are full of good football?

The teams look burnt and unprepared, which they are.

Nailed it.

You're presenting me the option of MORE nights of football? Yes please.

You don't have to watch it, but having the option to watch it such a plus.

And Spiro Dedes will do the game and it will go out to 4 percent of the country.

From a fan's perspective the Thursday night games are a abomination

The quality of play and lack of gameplanning makes it bad.

Also, having attended the last two Thursday night games in Atlanta, I have to say that the experience really sucks. It just feels different.

They also announced today that the London games will be played at 9:30 our time next year, even though nobody except people who need to line their pockets with cash wants it.

I like the 9:30 kickoff.

But I've been getting up early--and in the past have gotten up early and gone to the pub--to watch rugby and soccer for years.

I like GOOD football. Thursday night games don't tend to be good.

Double edge sword because yeah they have a quick turnaround but then they get a week and a half to prepare for their next opponent, so it's almost like a mini bye

Worked out real good for the Saints this past week with an extra day to boot.

They get paid millions. They should shut up and play when told to play. They are there for the fans' amusement, not what makes them comfortable.

Pretty much this. I love the Thursday night games.

I refuse to watch NFL on Thursdays. That's not how to make this league better. Stop diluting the product with all of these sissy rule changes.

Games outside of Sun/Mon games don't make this league better. Part of the NFL appeal was waiting until Sunday to get your fix. Now it seems that' it's available too often.

I've always agreed with this. Thursday games should be eliminated OR should involve teams that had a bye the week before.

Can't imagine playing a decent opponent on a Sunday and then playing another game 4 days later.
