Got invited on a hunt in n Texas this weekend. All I have is a shotgun for ducks. Can I kill a deer with my 6 shot?

No, get some 00 buckshot or slugs

You can kill a deer with 6 shot, but don't shoot a deer with fricking 6 shot

You can kill a deer with a rock but I dont recommend it. Slug, buckshot, or rifle are your only options. Anything else and you are pissing up a rope. In fact, using 6 shot may be illegal

Make a cut shell out of that 6 shot and turn it into a slug

No offense, but I would be nervous being in a hunting situation with someone who asks a question like this. Prayers sent to your comrades.

You should probably get your hands on a rifle and learn how to shoot it. Depending on where you are in TX, you can have some 500+yd shots

*If you asked that question, you shouldn't be shooting further than 150yds IMHO*

Depends on if you can get him to chew on the barrel or not. Hell, ask him to jump up in the truck for that matter.

Your screen name is pretty fitting in this situation
