Weird story:

I was walking on the other side of the levee around St. Gabriel, and stumbled upon a nasty, dead smell. Looked for it for a minute and found a completely skinned doe(80lbs) sitting next to a tree. Nothing had been taken except the skin.

Funny story:

I loaded that skinned, rotten smelling deer in the truck and threw it over my buddy's fence while he was working one day. Still has no idea where it came from

Probably a deer that wandered off of FZ's lease

He traps them as fawns and skins them then. Saves time when he kills them after they're grown. FZ is all about efficiency.

Got invited on a hunt in n Texas this weekend. All I have is a shotgun for ducks. Can I kill a deer with my 6 shot? No offense, but I would be nervous being in a hunting situation with someone who asks a question like this. Prayers sent to your comrades.

Stay out of that area unless your neighbor is Arnold.

I prefer a pistol to a shotgun for deer hunting.

If you and your buddy hunt ttogether just use his rifle. I went on a trip last year with my friend and his gun had an issue so he shot mine.

I have a similar problem...

Got invited to a duck hunt but only have a 30.06 bolt action. Should I use the 180 grain or 165 grain Core-Lokts for Mallards?
