Been a few weeks since the new gen has started, what games have you played?

And what are your thoughts on each in terms of graphics, gameplay, etc?
Haven't played a lot of any of these, but I have played some to at least get an opinion on graphics. The following I've played at least a bit of, and have loved the graphics for each. Especially Rivals.
NFS Rivals
CoD Ghosts
NBA 2k14
BF4
ACIV
Madden 25

Forza.... Best racing game I've played, ever. Still a racing game, but beautiful.
Ryse.... I've played maybe 5 minutes. I liked it, but for whatever reason haven't gone back yet. The graphics were pretty sweet for how downgraded the resolution and everything ended up being. I'm sure I'll get back on when I get bored with...
CoD:Ghosts... first time I've ever played this franchise, so it's completely new to me. Mindlessly fun, IMHO. No problems at all on XBLive on any of my games.
I had initially purchased BF4, but took it back that same night to exchange for CoD, which I'm glad as shite I did. I've heard of too many glitches in this game to have personally enjoyed it. I don't play my ONE all day like some, so when I do get on, that shite needs to work.
I've also played a bit of Killer Instinct and enjoyed it, but I was doing nothing but button mashing.

BF4...is so glitchy and I'm disappointed that I wasted my money on it. It looks good but that's it.
Ghosts...it's even more fun then the 360 version. No lag!!!!
Madden 25....no blown away by the graphics but the gameplay
NBA 2k14.....AMAZING

This game is truly amazing. If you are into racing simulations it's a must have.

If you would have played the game five more minutes you would have beaten it .
Anyway jokes aside fun can that is visually amazing but does get repetitive but is quickly beaten. If it ever comes to RedBox I suggest renting it otherwise pass.

I have BF4 now because as a whole I was just done with COD but the few times I have tried to play BF4 it has been so glitchy I am considering going back to COD just so I have a working game.
This makes me sad because I had high hopes for BF4 to be the game that makes me officially stop playing COD but if it don't work, it don't work ... not much I can do about that. Either way with what I do, it doesn't really matter because in all they are just killing time until Titanfall.

Lots of fun and I was doing the same thing.
Okay I have also played FIFA 14 for the tOne and have to say it's amazing. The new Ignite Engine is great and the game altogether feels heads above the 360 version IMO. Visually beautiful as well!

I'll start this by saying that I was out of gaming for around 12 years. I'm in my mid 30's and my son is of the age that he wanted to start playing. I got him a Wii U last year. I got him an XBone this year. His birthday is in Nov so we've already set it up and played.
I'll start with the Wii U - not impressed. While the game pad does bring a little more diversity into the gaming experience it's capabilities are far from mind blowing. I played mario bros in elementary/high school and a very little in college. I was disgusted that I was basically playing the same game that I was in elementary/high school. Nothing has changed other than the levels and map. It's basically the same game. Combine this with the disgust I felt when I found out the game wasn't able to be played online, (and there are very few games for children that are online mp) and I'd say we just haven't come very far at all with gaming. Hopefully mario bros 3d will be a better experience. The whole Wii world or whatever it is is a big joke. They're just trying to sell you more shite and advertise. It's bullshite. No entertainment value at all unless you like being solicited about new games.
Xbone - honestly the voice commands are pretty sweet. I really like being able to speak to my TV instead of finding the remote to change the channel. The gaming aspect, although still new, was still unimpressive to me. While the graphics are really sweet, the games haven't changed much. Madden 25 is basically the same game I played in college. Very little outside of graphics has changed. COD ghosts was ok, but still, other than the cool graphics it's the same shooter game that I played in college. The lego game makes you think a little, but you're basically doing the same thing over and over and over to unlock the characters. Unimpressed.
TL:DR - After being out of gaming for 12 years and getting back in so that me and my son could bond a little I am completely unimpressed with the progress in gaming technology. Guess I just figured we would be alot further along by now.

Got the ps4 and got cod and bf4 for now, going to probably pick up need for speed next week when my money looks a little better but I'm mainly waiting on destiny.
Not enjoying bf4 even though it looks amazing. Glitchy as hell and don't get to actually play half the time I try to.
Cod is the same mindless fun shooter. Few maps I despise but for the moat part it's just the next installment in an insanely fun game.
Unfortunately most of my friends are poors and still haven't stepped up to the next gen so I have nobody to play with. I've been playing mass effect on my PC the last week. Hopefully they will join the 21st century soon.

I haven't even played Forza. I've played NFS and Gran Turismo in my time, how is the Forza series compared to them?

Easily a 1000x better than NFS and I would say on par if not better than Gran Turismo.
Very good game, one of the best racing sims hands down ... no matter your skill level.
Visually amazing as well.

BF4 - has great potential. beautiful. fun. amazing with a good crew. needs patching asap before they lose the market tho. if they get their act together it will dominate this gen of FPS until TitanFall.
Ryse - i've played about 3-4 hours into the campaign. The graphics are outstanding, despite framerate drop before production. The gameplay is a bit repetitive, but fun, and so far the storyline hasn't been all that great. Disappointing with all the lead up and short series created for it.
Forza - Graphics are outstanding. It's definitely more difficult than previous Forza games, but I love racing and I love competition. So this is something I can lose myself in for hours. I've only spent 5-6 hours playing. So, I look forward to playing in the future.
NBA2K14 - at first I was really blown away by the graphics and cut scenes. I mean don't get me wrong, they look great. I just wish they wouldn't have taken out some customization options of previous titles. But the storyline and integration for MyPlayer are really good. I'm having a blast playing it. I'm like a game or 2 away from becoming the starting PG for the 76'ers. I look forward to the MyTeam (GM) mode once I finish making Pistol Pete a baller in MyCareer. Great game. I'll play this for months and months I'm sure.

yeah i played days worth of Turismo back on PS2 and have played my fair share of NFS. And I think the past 2 Forza's blow both out the water.
