I've done:
GoT
BB
Walking dead
Sopranoes
Ray Donovan

I have netflix and HBO go

On a side note, i was disappointed in how Omar died, such a bad arse getting killed by a 5 year old??? Gimme a break

I was excited about a Marlo/Omar standoff but it never happened. Plus they never showed what happened to Michael Lee.

Overall pretty damn good show, 5th season wasn't great

Apparently that was VERY realistic. Simon knows the streets in Baltimore and a big time thug normally gets taken out by someone out of left field. This is according to several stories I've read after the series concluded.

Plus it's better than a predictable showdown in the streets.

It was about a year ago that he passed. I had just started watching The Wire - I did not realize until now that one of Omar's crew, "Donnie", was played by Donnie Andrews, the real life Omar Little.

I'd go deadwood, Oz, Rome or Six feet under. Not necessarily in that order. Six Feet Under is something you may watch along side something else so your not just outright depressed all day.

That's the point though...it can be anybody at any time, and sometimes you won't even remotely see it coming. And to top that off, no matter how "dominant" in the game you think you are, eventually there will be someone who isn't scared of you...notice right before Omar got got, all the kids ran off except for Kenard, who kills him a couple minutes later.

Sure they did...he essentially became Omar.
