Watching david Blaine:Street Magic on Destination America (Directv ch 286). Dude is unreal. Woman signed a card. Puts it in the middle. He jumps it up to the top. Hands woman the deck of cards. Tears her signed card into 4 pieces. Rubs it in his hand. It disappears when he sets it in her hand. Then it appears on the top of the deck she was holding the entire time intact with her signature. What the hell?

dude is insane, i know its magic and an illusion but hes the best IMO
you should watch that special that was on a few weeks back, even the A list actors were in disbelief

Yeah he's got the voodoo.
He had the viewing audience pick a card.I can't remember exactly the way he had you select it.
But it was the card I picked.
I know he kind of talks you into picking it,but still.

I wish his new special would re-air somewhere on TV. I missed it and didn't get a chance to record it. Heard it was good.

David Blaine has done more to create the illusion of genuine magic than anyone in the past 30 years.
I don't care how many Statue of Liberties Copperfield disappeared.
And Cris Angel gets publically called out by magicians as being a fake using staged audiences.

I would love to be there to see Blaine in person. His close up magic is unbelievable.

Same here. I haven't seen much of his stuff but while flipping channels the other night i watched him stick a needle through his arm while a guy was sitting next to him. Not sure how he pulled it off and even if it was fake it was hard to watch
