Curious to see what people think outside of Saints and Seahawks fans.

Lots of 'something has to give' stats going into this game.

Saints have won 9 straight MNF games
Seahawks have won 7 straight MNF games

Saints are 3rd in yards per game
Seahawks are 2nd in yards allowed per game

Saints are 2nd is passing yards per game
Seahawks are 1st in passing yards allowed per game

Saints have the 3rd best scoring offense
Seahawks have the 2nd best scoring defense

Saints have the 4th best scoring defense
Seahawks have the 2nd best scoring offense

Saints are averaging the 2nd most yards per play
Seahawks give up the 2nd least yards per play

Also, if you're into the DVOA stuff...

Saints rank 3rd on offense
Seahawks rank 1st on defense

Saints rank 12th on defense
Seahawks rank 6th on offense

Saints rank 19th on special teams
Seahawks rank 1st on special teams

Saints rank 4th overall
Seahawks rank 1st overall

I predict that if the Saints lose many MIA Falcon fans will crawl out of the woodwork and live vicariously through the Seahawks

I think the Saints are a better team at a neutral site.

I hope the Saints win because I bet against my friend from Seattle on this one.

I do not know who wins tomorrow.

I predict the saints will lose by a TD. I love them, but a cold outside game in Seattle is a bad combo. If we somehow pull it off, I'll be ecstatic, but I just don't see it happening.

can I vote for a tie?

it is definitely one of those games, I don't feel confident we'll win or lose.

I love my team, and I'm confident in them. However, this being a prime time game in an already hostile environment.. It's just gonna make the place way over the top. It will be very, very hard to win.

Like someone else said, I think if this game was on a neutral site, the Saints win 6 out of 10. But being that its in Seattle and - DESPITE that stats show we still win pretty often outside - its outside in the cold, I think it's more than likely we lose. I just hope we can put up a good enough fight where people still know we're a major contender.

We definitely have a chance though. I won't ever doubt CSP.

I'm the same way. I think it will be very close either way. People predicting blowouts either direction fall under the homer category in my opinion. I know Seattle hasn't lost a game by more than 7 in 35 games straight. I'm assuming the Saints have a similar stat under Payton's watch.

We win. Both teams play in the same weather for the game

do Chancellor and Earl Thomas play a lot of man-to-man?

I know they are safeties but I'd guess they could cover WR's one-on-one if they had to.

on the Saints side, losing Jabari Greer was fricking awful. Corey White has been shaky since he took over. He made a pick vs. the 49ers but of course fumbled on the way to the endzone...

was just wondering about Chancellor and Thomas because the Seahawks are thin at corner.

Seattle has faced one average QB - they lost

Drew Brees on deck, 12th man is the dumbest fricking thing ever, it's an advantage but waaay too much is made of it

Seattle's strength defensively is now their weakness

No homer pick. Drew Brees is going to work them over

if the Saints can exploit the lack of depth at CB in the passing game, then i think they have a shot. But its going to take someone other than Jimmy Graham to do that.

They need to get up early and try and take the crowd out. Zero turnovers.

If they turn the ball over and lose the lead, SEA is gonna pin their ears back and get after Brees, and with that crowd, it will be hard for the Saints to win.

I'm surprised at how lopsided analysts seem to be for this game. 9 out of 10 at PFF had Seattle winning

Thomas will typically just play a really deep safety and roam around back there. It wouldn't surprise me to see Chancellor along with a combination of Maxwell and Shead cover Graham for the game since they're all big, physical DBs.
