Which game do you think had a better ending?

I thought posting this question here would get less bias than on the MSB.

Not to disparage my Blue Moons, but it's Auburn.

They did it against Bama, we did it against QPR with Djibril fricking Cisse.

True, but that was directly for the title while Auburn might not even make it to the title game. That should have some merit, how much though, TBD.

True, but 2 goals in stoppage time to win a game has happened before and since (see: USA v. Panama). A college football game has never ended like that before.

I tend to go with Man City/QPR given the stakes.

The City title finish is the most amazing thing I've ever seen in sports. It inspired me to dive even deeper into the BPL.

That's a bold statement.

Landy v. Algeria

But that was more about the stakes than the actual play.

I was coming here to pose this very question.

I have to say that I think Warren Morris' home run is the only thing that tops Aguero's goal for me (for obvious reasons).

If the Auburn return of the FG attempt was in the BCSNCG, then yes, it's better than Man City/QPR finish.

I go with Kün.

I think the only thing that could top that for me is the US winning the World Cup with a late winner.

I don't think so. For me, I don't think anything will ever top that. Auburn tonight came damn close though. That one is definitely my number two.

Warren Morris HR
Tracy Porter interception to clench the Super Bowl (my favorite sports moment)
Bluegrass Miracle
US advances to knockout stage of 2010 WC
WVU and Mizzou lose to send LSU to the NC

It was great, don't get me wrong, but these hit a little closer to home for me.

If Auburn beats Mizzou and OSU loses to MSU... leading to Auburn vs FSU in the title game and then Auburn wins?

This play beats that one in that case.

To me, and this might come as a surprise to you all, but to me, the Davis return was a better finish.

Just saying.

In a vacuum, Auburn pretty easily. Overall, still going with Auburn. City's was great, but not incredibly remarkable, e.g., United versus Bayern in '99.

If Alabama moonwalks into the title game, I might reconsider.
