He came on to the field very confident. He knew what needed to be done and he knew that he could do it. There was no "deer in the headlights" look, and he performed perfectly. This will be fun with him as our QB!

Came in and got it done

He looked real good. Calm in the pocket, stepped up in it, made the throws, not looking to run, but knew when to run. Very good last minute game winning drive to start a career.

I don't know what shocks me more: the fans who were leaving the stadium early yesterday with five minutes left in the game or those who fail to see how important that last drive was for the LSU program's future with Jennings.

As a fan, I had quit. I gave Jennings no shot at being able to pull that off. I'm glad I was wrong.

I didn't like the lack of zip on his passes... Needs more arm strength or its pick city. Its concerning at least.

he will. I really believe if mett were in for the last drive that he gets sacked twice and we lose. nothing against mett cuz he did awesome this year but, it's my opinion.

Everyone doesn't have Mett's arm strength. You go from what will be high level of arm strength in the NFL to a freshman college quarterback you're going to see a difference genius.

If I am not mistaken, Jennings accounted for all 99 yards on that last drive. That is the equivalent of a unicorn...his first meaningful drive starts on one foot line and he accounts for all yardage in game winning drive.

That stuff just doesn't happen. Amazing

go back and watch the passes. he put just enough touch on them. they were honestly perfectly thrown.

I think he will be a pocket passer with escapability,he will look to pass first then run

Placement of his passes will be key, but he really didn't have any throws where he had to gun it in there

That first pass to Gordon (?) was the most impressive. Over the linebacker's head and into the TE's hands before the safety arrived. Given the situation and the small window he had to fit it into, that was some pass.

You would be correct. 76 passing yards, 22 rushing on that final drive. Before yesterday, he had 3 pass attempts on the year, so he completed more passes on that final drive than he had previously thrown the entire season.

It's kinda too bad that it happened to a team who was in the process of getting shut out in the SEC for the first time since before D-Day, as most people will probably argue that detracts from the legendary nature of the drive.

But I don't think I'll ever forget the image of that ball sailing through the air into Dural's waiting hands. Like you said: Amazing.
