OBJ3, Hill, and Landry, I understand. No one else is close to being ready (if anyone else is close, I guess it is Ego), but last year there were multiple inexplicable decisions.

Who else is expected to declare? And is there any chance for either of the receivers to come back? I'm guessing not.

Worried that we lose 6 or more early again.

I hope Hill stays. Would be great to rotate Hill, Magee, and Lord Fournette.

By the way.. if he comes here his nickname is Lord Fournette.

If that happens, I would just be so confused, and I'd have to think our guys are getting tampered with agents early and often,

Posters often have tunnel vision with regards to their schools on message boards, but what happened last year was unprecedented in the history of college football.

Hill is gone! Just get it out of your heads! I think L. Collins and Ego gone for sure too. I hope freak stays one more but there's no such thing as staying until senior season year at LSU anymore! Ha

In an opposite vein, I'm gonna be optimistic and say Landry will stay.

When asked about his draft prospects this week, Landry seemed genuine when he maintained he came to LSU for an education first & foremost.

I know money talks and BS walks, but if he does surprise us, him not delaying his degree could play a bigger factor than we are accustomed to with junior stars.

His draft stock is at it's highest right now. It may even take a slight decline with an inexperienced QB next season. Leave when you're at your best. You can always go back to school.

Aint no way.

Freak is 100 percent gone too. Dont care what hes played like this season, get him in a combine and hes a 1st round (see Dontari Poe)

If it happens 2 years in a row, and only to us, then yes, you have to think someone is behind this. For example, if we are hearing how 'great' the Bama players are, and ready for the pros, then why wouldn't they all leave in the same year too??

Idk man. He gets pushed around constantly out there. He may run a 4.5, but he gets zero pass rush and is nonexistent in the running game. I just don't see how NFL scouts will be able to risk a first round pick after watching his film

I just don't see what good will freak do by declaring. He has not been dominant at all this season. I don't care if he runs a 4.4 and has 40 inch vert, after watching film on this guy how do you waste a pick on this guy like this. If you need a DT I'm 100% positive you can find a better on than freak/

I don't care what his measurables are there is no way Freak (can we retire that yet btw) is a first rounder if he comes out this year.

Poe was 350 lbs and ran a 4.7 40. Freak is 300 lbs and will not break 5.0. NO way in hell he gets into the 1st round. Probably a 3rd round pick at best. But really that doesn't have anything to do with anything. He is probably ready to give the NFL a shot. It's what he and every other big time recruit goes to college for. It's what he has been preparing for his whole life.

the main objective is to get to the NFL regardless of what round drafted in. It is a consideration but just one of many things that factor into deciding whether to go or stay another year.
