Blue's frame could add some weight and i think it would give us a legit option to throw to or run with.

No need with Neighbors returning, Blue's knees aren't the best as it is.

Bad move! We'll have two experienced tailbacks, and we'll need them both. Neighbors is a great fullback, and he returns. He also has good ball skills. Melvin Jones is apparently looking good, so we have the perfect group next year. Blue and McGee at TB backed by the great young understudy, and two solid FBs.

Some of the best short-yardage packages Miles has used in the past were 2 RBs in the eye. We used to run this formation a lot with Scott and Ware lining up at FB. I am just a little sick of FB blowing big plays bc of poor ball skills. Neighbors ball skills were pretty clear when he dropped that 1st down pass last night. Its difficult catching passes when u cant lift your arms over your head.

I guess yall dont get as frustrated as me when LSU is continually let down by the FB on designed plays.
Look at the thread title. Im not saying Blue should start at FB. Just give him some snaps there bc
1. He can actually make a play if need be
2. He is physical enough to play the position
3. His blocking and vision are good and that is the most important thing fir FB.
The reason Copeland was benched is not bc of the fumble. It is bc his vision on where the hole will be is not very good. Neighbors is far superior at finding the hole and guiding the HB thru.

I would go with HIllard at FB over Blue in that case. Built more like a FB and runs more like one, but still agile enough to catch the ball.

I had about given up on Blue but after watching him yesterday I think he needs more PT - get his legs under him. He may be explosive next year

He'll get lots of reps at RB

With his height, AB should mebbe play slot some. Saves the knees, too.
