Not worthy of a #2 pick at all. He is an above average player that would be worth a mid-first.

i'd rate him a B-... made some things happen, into year 8 of his career, but wasn't what we drafted him to be

Definitely not a bust. He was a huge part of the Saint's super bowl. Not just his numbers on the field which havent been too stellar, but he brought excitement to the Saints franchise.

Solid player who went to unfortunate situations early in his career

I'd take Sproles over Bush any day of the week if that tells you anything. But Bush isn't a bust. Not worthy of a #2 pick either.

No.

However, he has had a great career. He's a tremendous receiver (88 catches his rookie year!).

This season, his 8th in the league, might wind up being his most productive.

Saints more than likely wouldn't have won that Super Bowl without him.

i think his arrival in the NFL coincided with teams moving away from paying every down backs... then when he was losing carries to the pierre thomases and chris ivorys of the world, we ironically got darren sproles who played reggie's role better than he did

I wish he could of gone to the Texans in that draft would if liked what he could if done in that zone run scheme but overall a good career

He had some inconic moments that season. The TD against Miami, and he ran all over the Cardinals in the playoff game.

The Minnesota game the year before that, he brought back two punts for touchdowns, and almost had a third. He was at times the most exciting and frustrating player to watch.

Of the Top 10 taken that year 6 made ProBowls, however those six were Mario Williams, Vince Young, AJ Hawk, D'Brickshaw Fergerson, Vernon Davis, Donte Whitner.

If you would redraft that year's first round Bush still goes in the top 5. The other 1st round running backs that year were Laurence Maroney, DeAngelo Williams, and Joe Addai.

He is only a bust if you hold him to the Gale Sayers/Marshall Faulk standards people had from Pre-draft rankings.

He's got 8,700+ all purpose yards.

If he can get 2,000 more it'll put him near the top 100 in all-purpose yardage all time. Yeah, a lot of it is on returns, but still impressive.
