Is there any movie which is as enjoyable, yet the entire casts is filled with insufferable counts??

Giving Duncan a 3 is generous. That mouth breather fricking sucked. The girl next door would have been the only non awful character, but she liked Duncan. There goes that.

Had high hopes for this one, but thought it was mediocre and very forgettable. The scenes at the water park with Rockwell were solid, but that's about it.

The kid lead really killed this movie from being better.

Also, it was kind of a waste of Steve carrell. He had no funny moments and was just a dick.

Well, I thought it was a good movie. Heck, I even saw it twice.

I had high expectations and enjoyed it for the most part. It was a little over the top with all the coming-of-age cliches that it had though.

Sam Rockwell, just like most if not all the movies that he is in, was the best part.

Ive heard great things about this flick but I don't really like the idea of Steve carrell playing a dick...I'm sure I could look past that tho

It's not that hard to dissociate him from the likes of Michael Scott and Brick Tamland. He is a dick from minute one and plays it well.

This thread is weird. Thought it was great. I thought the lead kid did a good job as Steve Carell was funning awesome as the dick boyfriend. And obviously Sam Rockwell was great too.

It's a simple, straightforward sort of coming of age movie about a summer job at a waterpark. What's not to like?

There has been some buzz that Rockwell will get a best supporting actor nomination. I'm not sure it will happen, still lots of movies to be released before nominations are announced.

I said I liked it. Just odd in that I enjoyed it despite every single character having fricking awful qualities.

Steve Carrell? Dick
Mom? Soft
Daughter? Bitch
Duncan? Mouth breather who makes things ridiculously hard on himself.
Girl Next door? Likes Duncan
Rockwell? 40 year old man who walks around a water park all day being a smartass to kids

Etc etc etc.
