Anyone know the record? Not that records are important around here.

This defense is a real breath of fresh air. I no longer cringe every time we come off of the field on offense.

Saints defense are allowing 32.8% on 3rd down conversions (Overall defense: 4, Scoring Defense: 5)

Third to only:
Kansas City - 27.2% (Overall defense: 12, Scoring Defense: 2)
Detroit - 31.6% (Overall defense: 25, Scoring Defense: 22)

BOOM.

The media is getting Rob Ryan as a personality and that they are improved. It's the how much improved is still to be truly understood by the media and general public.

I almost always now reference the worst defense in history! That defense now has allowed less yards than the hallowed seachickens, niners, & jets.

Know what this reminds me of?

Houston Texans and their Wade Phillips addition. I believe they went from a bottom 5 to a top 5 as well.

yes, great analogy

30th in 2010. Add Phillips and they have been 2nd, 7th, & currently 1st. We do that for 3 years and I'm betting a left nut on having another ring.

That's third down conversion rates. Detroit can't be bothered with all that silliness. They give up the yardage on first and second down.
