This is fun.
UNC is down 41-34 at the half. They have managed to shoot 28 free throws in 20 minutes, yet have only made 9 of them. Belmont has attempted 9 free throws.

ESPNU, I believe. Going for a run now, hopefully the game isn't over when I come back. With the whistles, looks like it will easily take an hour or longer for the 2nd half to finish.

Could be the case for sure. But if Hairston is indeed out for the year and McDonald is suspended for the first 20 games, the Tar Heels probably won't have a .500 record for the season

Holy Cross played them hard the other night

They've literally lost every recruiting battle with UK the last few years...they went all out for Julius Randle and Wiggins, so it's not a lack of trying.... still managed to get some top 30 Four star guys, just not superstars. They have 3 of top 15 currently committed for 2014
And let's face it, ole Roy rarely ever overachieves....his 2 Titles were with teams that were just loaded beyond belief! He's very overrated imo

Certainly not 2 in a row. Have they really missed this badly these last few classes? They have literally 0 playmakers right now, maybe 1 when/if Hairston comes back.
Eta: have they lost some key assistants or something? Or does it really just coincide with calipari getting to Kentucky as someone else said?

I think cal and coach k are just getting all the players. He'll Kansas isn't doing bad either. Guys that would normally go to UNC are going to uk.
