Do you make the deal if you are the Saints?

Friend just texted me this and I said no. I can't see parting with Graham when we rely so heavily on the pass. The only player I would probably trade Graham for would be Megatron, as he is uncoverable as well. Also factor in the age of AP with that of Graham's and our O line play, it wouldn't make sense.

What say you?

Best TE in the league only on the front end of his prime in a 70% passing offense vs the best RB in the league on the back end of his career.. No. Definitely not. I wouldn't even take AP and the Vikings entire draft for Graham.

HELL NO
AP has 3 years left of being in his prime.... if that. Jimmy hasn't hit his ceiling yet and can play a lot longer.

The blocking would be the same and we would be throwing to Hill TE.

Drew needs more/better weapons to throw to not less/worse.

CSP is a passing guru not a running one.

JG is younger.

Why tell every player in the locker room your effort, pride and dedication don't mean sh!t to us coaches.

So no.

That was my reasoning as well

Well I'd have to consider that one being how bad the Vikings are.

Not no, HELL NO

AP is getting up there in age for a RB, plus has had major knee injuries.. He's not going to last much longer.

Jimmy will be tearing it up for many years to come.

I wouldn't even do this trade.

-Graham is younger.
-He plays TE which is more valuable and irreplaceable especially with his level of talent.
-He puts up similar numbers as Mega also.

I'm biased, but Jimmy is the best weapon in the NFL right now based soley on the team and system he is currently in.

My friend actually agrees with me. He wouldn't do the trade. I started the thread when some others (group test message) said they'd consider it. Wanted to see what the collective minds of ST thought.
