Your ULM Football team has an important game this Saturday, and I want to challenge the entire student body to break the student attendance record of 4,287 that was set at last year’s Baylor game. This game means a lot to our student-athletes and especially our seniors! Here are a few reasons why you need to be in attendance this Saturday!
1- We are honoring our 16 seniors, as they compete for their last time at Malone Stadium. This senior class have completely taken this football program to a whole new level(,) and we want to honor them will a full student section on Saturday night.
2- This game(,) if we win, will also make us “Bowl Game” eligible for a second straight year
3- We have our several important recruits coming to Monroe this Saturday and they specifically have asked to check out our game day environment and we want to show them what an exceptional place ULM is. (LOL)
This is my first time reaching out to the student body like this, and I have faith that each and every one of you will be in Malone Stadium this Saturday with your TALONS OUT to cheer on your ULM Warhawk Football team! This is your school and your team, and we will continue to work each day to get better and make you proud to be a ULM Warhawk! See you Saturday and GO WARHAWKS!

Of their five wins, one is over Grambling, which doesn't count towards bowl eligibility since they are non-FBS.

Just trying to rally some support for his team, I don't see anything wrong with that.
He made a few grammatical errors, it happens. He's a coach, not an english teacher.

You get one FCS rent a win a year to count toward your bowl eligibility.

I just looked it up. Apparently, you do, but if you finish 6-6 with one win over an FCS team, the rules say that any 6-6 team with all wins v. FBS teams will be selected over them.
