I've got a pair of Maine Hunting Shoes that have to be 25 yrs old. Still waterproof, but the treads are worn down to the point that you don't want to walk in mud for fear of busting your arse. I need to send them back and have them redone.

same with old pair i got so took blow torch to waffle maker till got it red hot then pressed shoe down on it best tread grip i ever got

I wear Servus white boots, Good Boots. American made and a clear step above other work boots. I get them at Guidry's Hardware in Lafayette.

I have those and a pair of Lacoste, but my next pair are going to be muck boots. Holy hell, you talk about comfortable.
