re: .

All I did was talk to an ex (texted her some and lied to the girlfriend), and my girlfriend at the time ended it once she caught what was going on. We tried to salvage it, but It caused all sorts of problems and ruined her trust, although I didn't cheat at all. You're fricked.

This. You probably won't even have to pay for the chocolate. Especially if she's fat. They'll service that shite for free, then y'all be even.

In a true relationship, A BIG NO! If you have feeling for your SO, there was no reason to be getting drunk in a bar in the first place. Really time to grow up and face it head on.

Walk away now. This is her ammo that will win every argument from here on out. She will bring it up constantly and you will have to endure it should you stay. To truly forgive is to forget. Believe me, she'll never forget. I say again, walk away.

Don't blame her for not trusting you again. You screwed up and blaming it on "I was too drunk" isn't really a valid excuse.

A sober man's thoughts is a drunk man's actions.

Being drunk is a valid excuse for a lot of things but cheating isn't one of them. ESPECIALLY when your girlfriend is at the bar with you. If my SO were to do that to me trust wouldn't even be the biggest issue the lack of respect would be the main problem.

And you really have no say in whether yall make it work and stay together or not. Thats up to her. And even if you do stay together it will be a long long time before things get back to how they were before this and thats if they ever do at all.

Only young people would think that way. Nothing will come to the good by going out in a bar with the SO and getting drunk. The old says stands true, " shite Happens". Time for the OP to pay for his young dumb arse self. Just hopes he lives and learns from his mistakes.

Depends on the type of bar.

Nothing wrong with going to a dive bar/pub for some drinks and conversation.

or a bar thats having live music.

There is no reason to go to a "club" though. The only reason people are there are to go home with someone. You already have someone at home... so no point

This is what I'm getting at. Still getting drunk is not the best thing.
