I think I need a statistician with good acuity skills and patience and a lot of time on their hand to navigate through this and create a summary of the data. Wow, it is all over the map, but I guess somewhere around a 7 is the more common answer in the thread...

4, average at best and it is catching up to him, not year in and year out championship quality and that is what supporters and alums should strive for instead of always making apologies, rationalizing and making excuses for our coach and our school.

It is said that perfection is the enemy of the good enough. As far as LSU and Les Miles are concerned, it seems the opposite is true as well.

Why bring it up? Maybe because out of the blue he said he was going to give the other guy a prostate exam?

Thought it was peculiar, to say the least.

Let's see how those classes end up before we worship miles recruiting ability. Where were these skills for the glaring defensive weaknesses on this team. Regardless, recruiting is only a part of it. Less still can't coach. his teams are never ready and execution is average at best. The o line, his alleged specialty annually underperforms. He takes 5 star linemen and makes them into undrafted free agent pickups.

You dumbass, i'm not worshiping shite. He's already developed a connection with these recruits, some for years. fricktards want him gone and want all that build up to just dissipate. Most of these guys are on the fence and this would give them push right to the other choice. Let's miss out on possibly the best haul in recruiting history because of a 3-4 loss season.

My God, they level of your stupidity.

We are in the top two and four of FOUR 5 star DBs , THREE 5 star WRs, a 5 star LB, a 5 star DE/DT, and a 5 star RB.

He has an excellent record here. Our fan base has ridiculous expectations which are fueled by Alabama's recent success. The amount of defensive starters that we lost after last year was out of his control.

That being said, our starters this year could've been much more prepared, but next year I expect them to head and shoulders above where they are now.

Well said. This is about where I stand.

I rate him 8 or 9. Have any of you thought that the entire SEC is the top-flight conference in America? Alabama is on an exceptional roll presently. Mizzou, A&M, Florida, Miss, and others are high quality teams. For me, I am glad they play in the nation's best & toughest conference. 1,2,or 3 losses yeah, it's tough but.. it beats playing a conference full of weak teams. Look at Ohio State - really good but will never make the championship game because of weak conference foes.

I'll take LSU, Miles, several losses to great teams, and root for LSU while holding my head high!

A lot of the problem fans have with Miles he brings on himself outside of the win/loss record. His goofiness is all well and good when things are going well but come off bad when things are not going well.

Not really related to the problems now but over his career he seems to like a close game and will do almost anything to make a game that shouldn't be close, come out close at the end. It's like how he gets his kicks coaching. Where other coaches get their kicks by pounding their opponent into the ground.
