On the plus side he seems to be of very good character, and is a good recruiter (but he wouldn't do that well at a place without a lot of talent and more competition for that talent)

OTOH, he comes across as goofy not just quirky and is a very average game day coach

On the negative side he seems very stubborn

8- before he allowed Mett to be sacked 4 times in a row of a blowout. 4-After seeing that. Lossed a lot of respect for CLM.
I'm at a firm 5 now.
Before this season started, I would have considered him a strong 9. Now, I have no idea why I ever thought that. He's not a bad coach at all. I just can't figure out some of the retarded shite He does or says. It isn't funny anymore. I'm out.

I would grade him a 7 right now. You need to repost this after the national signing day. He can slide down to 5 if the class is not rank in top 3.
I didn't take this into consideration, but if you take away his greatest attribute as LSU's coach which IMO is he is a damn good recruiter. You take that away and he's more than expendable in my book.

Dude backatcha, I am new to the site and just learning how to navigate. I am a product of the Louisiana public schools and a little slow to catch on.

I was responding to a post by BRLawyer who stated that it was impossible to embarrass Louisiana.
I stated that he appeared to be a lawyer and that in itself is an embarrassment.

Thanks for the heads up. Old and Grumpy username means I am "old school." 1961 grad of Byrd in Shreveport which was a very good school back then. My comment about LA public schools was tongue-in-cheek.

I am very positive about all LSU sports but very negative regarding Les Miles. Started listening to LSU football in the 1958 Championship season and have followed them ever since. Saw the Tigers in person in the '61-'66 seasons as a student.

Prepare to be insulted at every turn and have your intelligence and manhood challenged as well!!! :nana

I'm in real estate now, but used to teach at a feeder school for Byrd...CMM. Still go cheer on the jackets most Friday nights. Some friends of mine oldest son is the QB at Byrd. Small world!! And Sting'em Jackets!

We got trouble in River City. Ain't gonna recover; too many chips spent... 1/9... 2 more Alabama losses afterward... Lost to Ole Miss leftovers... too much struggle with lesser opponents (halftime score Furman)... doesn't adjust... recruiting fence in disrepair... team appears disheartened... fans starting to stay away or leave early...
It looks to me like the old Dinardo/Tepper slide.

Pretty telling stats. Exactly where i thought he would be after the votes were tallied up by the OP.

5.8 average

not shocking at all. Good to see we have people who know football and are not just blowhard sunshine pumpers.
