Just left Academy and could definitely see an increase in the price of shells since last year. I've always thought the Winchesters patterned like shite out of my Benelli, but I bought a box anyway because they are cheap and I found some #4 shot. I've been pleased with the Kent TealSteel and will probably shoot the regular Kents again this year. What are yall shooting and why?

Used to shoot almost entirely Estate 3.5" #3s
Last year I started using Winchester Blindside Hex Steel 3.5" #2s & #3s.
I need all the pellets in the air that I can get.

My Beretta loved Winchester Bindsides before I was married with a kid.
Quit using them due to cost and started shooting Remington Nitro Steel, which works VERY well for me.

Is a really good shell. Reminds me of the old classic Winchester dryloks which I loved in 12 gauge.

I ended up getting them by default towards the end of last year when I couldnt find shite on the shelf. Ended up being a good move.
I might try those Rios this year that everyone speaks of..

Nevermind, I was actually thinking of these.
I've never shot the nitro steels, but just almost bought some at $22 a box!

It hurts me to buy shells, all of the prices keep going north.
My dad rides my arse every time I pay more than $4 a box for shells
Jokes on him when he comes in and buys 10 gauge shells though.
