I am not a huge gamer but I am looking at buying a new system that is coming out

2 Questions:

- I am more looking for an entertainment center, I play a couple of games but nothing major and I am leaning towards the Xbox because of all of the TV features. To me, the PS4 seems to be more gamer driven. Am I right on this??

- Will the market be crazy for these like previous releases? Will they be on shelves throughout the holidays or are they going to be scalped on ebay like system releases in the past?

TIA

What about demand? Are they going to be stocked up this time around or will I have to wait until after the holidays?

I don't think anyone knows the answer to this question yet. At the moment all Xbox One preorders are sold out. You might be able to snag one if you camp out somewhere on release day based on this statement by MS:

quote:

While we do not share specific numbers of pre-orders, we will be able to fulfill all official pre-orders and will have units available at retail in our 13 launch markets on November 22. Based on early demand projections we are already anticipating that Xbox One will be sold out this holiday. We are encouraging consumers interested in Xbox One to preorder now or shop early as we anticipate selling every unit we deliver to retail this holiday.

Claims are that neither PS4 nor XB1 will have many units on the shelves the rest of this year due to high presale demands. I'm sure that was a bit exaggerated, but I'm sure they'lll be a little difficult to find.
