Off work. Hanging out on the porch catching up on some reading. Enjoying the outdoors before this chill sets in for a few days. FBD is leftovers from last night.

for the style, it's world class. not my favorite level of stout really but this one really tames down the booze with rich luscious texture, roasted arse malts and some solid hop to give it a much needed bitter element. Have yet to try a hoppin frog that disappoints

Today, high 'bout 55, low 'bout 40. Intermittent showers throughout the day. This will be the forecast through March.

Now you know why beer is so popular here.

I was gonna take the night off but now I'm undecided. I might have to make a stop after work...

Same here.
I planned on taking tonight off as well since I was thinking of hitting the brewery tomorrow and then I'm going to Austin Thursday - Sunday. But I might as well keep my liver in shape for the weekend.
Jester King on Friday

Also I'm officially starting to train for a half marathon next week. Just did a 10k this weekend and have never ran further than maybe 7 miles at once. Any of you runners have advice? Can I still lift weights while training? Well do leg days??

Loving the weather. FBD won't be till after class, but I've got a New Belgium and Cigar City Lips of Faith Collaboration I'm going to open tonight.

I've got an off day tomorrow. I've got a great lineup of college basketball on and a few new records...I may go pick up some stouts and porters and LINK........

I'm now to where I'm only running once or twice a week. 3-4 miles on Tuesday or Wed. then 7+ miles on the weekend. I do some kind of ab workout almost every day (even if it's just planking for a minute), arms/back 3-4 times a week, and calf raises + squats (sans weights) 3 times a week only on non-running days.

Thanks.

For you anyone familiar with Austin, not sure how much actual beer work I'll be able to do since I'll be with a group, but for sure Jester King is happening Friday. What are good places to purchase beer, as well as drink. I'll be tailgaiting for the game on Saturday then wanting to watch it at a bar or something.
Suggestions??
Also any other suggestions you'd like to share?

If you hit 6th street, find Easy Tiger. It's a bake shop up top and a craft beer joint underneath. Good selection.

Be sure to stop by Whip In for craft beer on tap and a nice bottle selection to buy.
