more like mcallister from that season at this point, but no shame in that with the top three safeties dinged up.

I'll take Bush and Quddus who know our system over a aging vet who had been demoted from the starting lineup on a sh!tty team

But carry on armchair GM's.

we are really thin at safety. He isn't the first "washed up" guy who lands on a team and makees a huge impact. The risk is low, the reward is high. It is a position of need

I'm sure he could figure out out system rather quickly. He did play under Rex in Baltimore. Sure it's not the same defense but there are bound to be some of the same elemtents and terminology

Harper is likely to come back this week. I suspect Jenkins will too.

If we were to pick up Reed, who would we cut to make room?

that would be for the coaches to decide, but I have a hard time believing there are 53 better players than reed.

I trust payton to do the best thing though, but I am excited for the possibility.

If the Saints are expecting them to be out for longer than the next game I could see bringing someone in.
But till then I'll pass on a former great player cut be a crappy team because he can't break the starting lineup.

I think it has more to do with him shite talking the coaches. that is the reason baltimore didn't re-sign him.

He won't challenge payton, and if he does he will be gone in the blink of an eye.

I'd rather just stick with what we have unless Vacarro or Jenkins' injury is worse than expected
