I'm bringing my girlfriend to New Orleans along with her brother and sister in law.

We will be in town the weekend of the Texas A&M game. Can y'all help me plan a broad list of places for the weekend?

Here is what I'm thinking...

Friday:
Dinner: Thinking Sylvain and showing the sister in law the French Quarter

Saturday:
Breakfast: (Something light, coffee, bagel, etc.)
Lunch: Parkway (walk over to Bayou Beer Garden for the A&M game)
Dinner: Something in the CBD/Warehouse/Uptown

Sunday
Lunch: La Petite Grocery

How about Peche for Saturday dinner?

Also don't know the age of your sister in law but I prefer to show guest the FQ during the day. It's just such a better place during the day time.

I completely agree. Our flight lands at 4:50 though.

I like this idea, or possibly Herbsaint.

I would do Atchafalaya instead of Le Petite. LPG is a slightly better place, but Atchafalaya Sunday brunch is really fun.

Not really suggesting a place this early, but I believe Ivy opens this week.

You could beat most locals to a new place.

Judging from the looks of the place when I walked by last week I would doubt it.

For Saturday night, consider an Uptown institution like Clancy's, Upperline, Patois or Gautreau's.

What time is your flight out? If you want this, better be there bright and early...never worth the wait

La Petite is a good choice...other options: Gott Gourmet, Appoline, Martinique
