If you have been a member at the More Sports Board for three years, you may remember the "Master of Unclutch" and the many images of just pure Charlie Brown type let down in Vancouver.

Shuster's team was essentially given a wild card birth into the 2013 trial started Sunday and goes through next Sunday.

After a round robin schedule, the top two teams will face-off for the chance to represent USA.

In the mean time, enjoy today's throwback John Shuster Memory Photo:

Team Shuster manhandles the 2013 USA National Champion Team Clark; 10-4. It was a 5-4 match and then Shuster throws an insane rock to score a 5 spot. He came to the trials focused.

Huge doubleheader tomorrow for Team Shuster with the first match at high noon against 2012 USA National Champion Team McCormick.

Shuster's squad is now sitting 2-0 after defeating the 2012 USA National Championship team (McCormick) in the 11th, 6-5.

A victory tonight against Tyler George's 2013 USA National Runner-up would put Shuster in an amazing position to advance to the finals.

My love for curling outweighs my dislike for Shuster, so I will still be on board for the 11 hours of daily coverage on CNBC.

I hope that Canadian MILF is back as well.

Team Shuster is now 3-0 in Round Robin Play with a 8-5 victory over Team George.

Shuster is back on the ice tomorrow at noon against Team Fenson. Pete Fenson skipped the team that Shuster was on that took Bronze for USA in Turin.

With regards to television, the matches have been live on the web (www.teamusa.org has the link).

NBCSN will televise the finals starting on Friday when the top two teams (five in the tournament) face off for a best of three.

This thread is great, I upvoted.

This guy was pretty much the least charismatic US Olympic athlete of all time. Lucky for him meme's and GIF's hadn't really caught on back then or he would have went viral.

It's all very predictable. The winner will represent USA in a Qualification Event for the Olympics.

Unfortunately, USA Curling representatives also shite the bed the last two years in the World Championships - so the USA Men will be fighting against seven other countries for the last two Olympic spots. This will all take place on December 10th - 15th. Women are already qualified for Olympics.

The only way that Shuster could cement his legacy of being terribly "unclutch" any more is by winning the trials and then not getting Team USA to Sochi.

Lol, I wasn't on twitter until 2012, and GIF's are 10x more popular and prevalent than they were back then. I know they existed, they just were more of an message board fad than the society fad they are now. Just my opinion maybe im way off base.
