NOT TAKING ANYTHING away from AD, but

To be fair, Shaq did it in his rookie year(28th NBA game) and his line read 30-20-8

Webber also did it in his rookie year (26th NBA game) 36-13-6.

That being said, Davis is making the leap into All-NBA player right now. If he keeps this up, the roster will mesh around him

I wanted to name my two month old Anthony. Wife didn't like the name though.

If Obama had a son, he would look like Austin Rivers.

What's irrelevant is being the "youngest ever" to do it.

In spite of the OP's thread subject. Hmmmm . . . I got's to go to my dictionary and logic class notes to understand, then.

So NBA service time is a better measuring stick than age?

the "logic" behind the youngest ever nonsense is that these players are less experienced.AD is in his second year of pro basketball, with roughly 150% more NBA game experience than Shaq or Timeout Chris at the time of this achievement in their careers.

The drafting/evaluating process is different now, making the youngest ever arguments silly.

Regardless, Davis making the leap into an All NBA level player is the headline not nonsensical "records".

Shaq playing 3 years of college and Webber 2 doesn't matter?

What if Sabnois or Ginobili did something like this their rookie year?

It's a dumb record but so is your argument
