That's a bold proposition. Y'all think this is possible or BS? Would you buy at $45 a pop?

Absolutely possible. You might die tomorrow or sell the gun and mags a year from now.

I don't have a 1911 but most everybody I know that has a 1911 swears by the WC mags. If WC puts as much into their mags as they do their guns, they are probably worth every bit of $45.

The standard WC mags will pretty much last a lifetime for the average shooter and cost less than half that much.

This, I haven't worn out a WC mag as of yet.

I don't have a lot of use for Bill Wilson's past influence on some of the shooting sports -- but Wilson Combat makes good 1911's, and they make excellent mags for 1911's.

I think I'd believe the claim.

Now, whether the mags are worth the price is a different question. Mag springs are pretty cheap and are easy to replace.

Yeah they are but for somebody who doesn't shoot very much or leaves a particular mag loaded with defense ammo (I realize neither of which are smart) you can rest assured it will feed if absolutely necessary.

You can keep mags loaded for years with no issues if stored properly. Hell, I shot last weekend using 30 rd usgi ar mags that have been loaded since 2002. No failures. Loaded with 28 rounds to reduce pressure on the lips.
