I paid money to see Superman
Not some emo wandering Clark Kent ripped from the Hulk tv series who let his father die for no reason or a Lois who tracks down Superman via his job history and then proceeds to shoot Kryptonians in the face.
I paid money to see truth, justice, and the American way, not an episode of DragonBall Z where Superman kills his best villain b/c of a couple dumbasses who won't fricking move away from a laser beam after he had no problem destroying his hometown and a major city.
