Overall I think most of us would agree that most aspects of the rebrand have been overwhelmingly positive.

The logos and color scheme are great, I admitingly was a little underwhelmed when the uniforms were unveiled but they really look great in action. Imo. The home whites are so much better than what we had last year.

My only critcism so far is i do think after watching a few games that the court design is a little bland. I understand wanting gold as the secondary color, but it doesnt really pop off the court, they could have used a glossier version of the gold or thicker trim around it in blue or red.

I think after a few years of establishing the primary logo we will probably go with one of the simpler logos in center court.

This one gets my vote, I think it's only a matter of time

At first, I wasn't a huge fan of the fleur de Pelican logo, but it is really starting to grow on me.

Their blue away jerseys look exactly like my high school jerseys, which is cool

Other than the small font I like pretty much everything about the new rebrand look

Me too, i thought it was a blah ripoff of the fleur de bee, but that particular one I posted (without the gold trim) is a better logo than the bee ever was, Not to mention it's easily the most fierce logo we have.

Honestly, I still do not like it. The name "Pelicans" is one of the worst in professional sports. I liked the Fluer-de-bee and Creole blue over what is essentially the same colors and similar logo as the Atlanta hawks (just trade the silver for gold)

This was my favorite logo before the rebrand

Not even close to the bottom half. Seriously where do people come up with this shite. It is an iconic bird to our state and you say it's one of the worst in professional sports. Please name me 1/2 of the big 4 NBA, NFL, NHL and MLB that have legitimate names that are so much better than ours.

Oh and god forbid you show an animal known for soaring through the sky and skimming the water with it's wings outstretched.

Rebrand is great, couldn't have done much better outside of bringing the Jazz back.

It's not going to change appreciably, so opinions likely do not matter that much.

Given the amount of gear out there and the amount of time people have had to buy it, it seems like most locals who support the team also support the rebrand. The ones who do not, you'll find posting in this thread or ones like it spouting nonsense in a misguided attempt to explain their preference (like anyone has to really justify liking something or not) or sounding like someone who didn't do so well or project runway.

Blah blah this accent, blah blah font, blah blah woodgrain... Whatever.

Learn to like this to team, learn to like another (and post there), or continue to sound like a disgruntled interior decorator who really doesn't realize the true misery of being a sports fan. Those seem to be the options.

I like everything about the rebrand except the clown chicken Pierre and the removal of the club escalators.

If by "worst" you mean "best" then I agree with this post.

Somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.

I like you as a poster, you obviously have connections to the team and bring resources and insight that is not available to everyone, to this message board. But this thread was started in a positive manner towards the rebrand, I was happy with how quickly the jerseys have grown on me, I know a few on this board were not in love with them during the unveiling. I also used it to show off that bad arse version of the fleur de Pelican logo that I stumbled across, I just bough a hat with that logo last week.

I'm sure you are tired of people disrespecting the Pelicans nickname, but who gives a shite what they think anyway. Most are likely not very big fans of the team.

Clearly Jimmies were rustled.. This is a message board, not a petition to change. What the hell is a message board without opinions?

Again I like you as a poster, just think maybe you took this thread for something other than what it was .

I agree the uniforms look way better on the court than they do on the shelves. Pierre Pelican is an abomination and should be murdered. It's sucks we still don't have a live in game jazz band. We still have a bottom three NBA fan base and very tepid support.

I like 42, but he occasionally has the tendency to be a little "preachy".

It's weird they took out the club escalators, that was the best part of the game... having everybody see you go up this prominent high-class escalator to your superior seats (I didn't sit in the club often but this is how I felt when I did).

NOLA, Milwaukee, Charlotte, Atlanta are the worst

Milwaukee might even lose their team if they don't get a new arena built soon. They should put the arena next to the baseball stadium as the Brewers draw very well. We know that location is suitable.

Actually the only way Milwaukee will ever get a new arena is for them to pitch that it will save downtown - that downtown would die without the bucks. New Orleans is very fortunate to have such a healthy and vibrant downtown plenty of cities in the Midwest don't have that same situation.
