Those inside and outside the SEC don't want to see Bama win another one. They still could do it with a loss...but an FSU / OSU matchup would sure be nice.

Another Utah-esque bowl loss would also cap things off nicely leading up to signing day.

I think what we're really saying here is that the entire nation will be rooting against Alabama. If LSU falls short, they'll be doing that for the Iron Bowl, too. And the SECCG, if Auburn falls.

A large number within in the state will also be pulling for LSU, i.e. Aubies, lol!

i havent met anyone that wants bama to win. i think everyone is just sick of them. i think the bcscg ratings will take a hit if they make it again. (depending on opponent)

That's what happens when you beat everyone for several years in a row.

It called envy, one of the seven deadly sins

Wouldn't you want the LSU program to be as successful as Alabama's? If, as a fan base, we are pleased or satisfied with our program's current position, then that's what we will always be, i.e. an AYO ( all you others). Dissention is not a sign of disloyalty to the program, IMO. It is a demand for perfection which is what I would like to see in our program. I am not a fan of Saban, but I do respect his drive for perfection.

Yeah, but there is a difference between winning with class and losing with dignity from just being obnoxious, e.g. Harvey Updyke, the guy that was arrested for sexual battery, etc. The Alabama fan base probably has something to do with everyone pulling against the Tide. My hope is that Saban accepts the money from Texas and leaves the SEC. That would be divine justice, IMO. Here's some friendly advice based upon experience, don't believe what Saban says about staying at Alabama

A guy I work with said LSU is a lock to beat Bama cause the NCAA does not want an SEC team back in the title game. I lol'd.

No it wouldn't. FSU destroys OSU. As much as I hate to say it. the BEST matchup is Bama vs. FSU.
