Recommend a good mountain hiking boot for extreme cold (-40F)

If not a specific boot, then maybe recommend good brands to look into.

Under $400 would be preferable.

Some of the local guides use Kenetrek. Their mountain boots are made in Italy and are great for cold weather and easy to break in.

Looks like this will narrow it down to Kenetrek and Schnee's.
