Like a lot of LSU fans, I've often trashed this guy for his arrogance and percieved Tiger bashing.

I have a new respect for him after this appearance. For those who didn't see it, he came clean about his alcoholism, relapse, the damage it causes, and his need to be honest about it to save himself, his family and to help others.

This hit me in a very personal way and i just wanted to acknowledge the courage he has to lay himself out there on National TV.

When you survive that "Sinking Ship," it's all about getting the message out to others who are on it. There is Hope, cause when you're in the middle of it it oftem seems hopeless.

I'm sure it'll be on ESPN website later. Or, it seems like they replay FirstTake all day long on ESPN News, the Duece, or one of those channels.

I'll look for it and add a link later if I can

Good to see someone in the spotlight taking responsibility for their shortcomings and not blaming something or someone else.

I couldn't possibly care less about addicts. You chose to start using whatever substance. I don't feel sorry for you.
