Tyler Moore at Home
:pagingaaronb:

ETA: Javi is the catcher's coach. We're doomed.

I read that last night. Pretty good read. Here is the summary...

THE GOOD:
-Tyler is basically stepping up the the plate and filling in an empty position on the field.
-Should provide better offensive numbers than a stereotypical catcher.
-Tyler will have moore gap power this year to go with his good plate discipline.

THE BAD:
-Defensively not as solid as a backstop as what we have gotten used to with Gibby then Ross, but should suffice due to his experience at the position.

THE UGLY:
-Javi is the catcher's coach.

-Year around bbq ribs are enough to make a junior turn down the pros and stay for his senior year

-Keeping bbq sauce out of the inside of your catcher's mitt.

THE UGLY:
-Javi is the catcher's coach.
-This one time, when Javi was sick, Mainieri was forced to order take-out from Voo-doo.

I think that will be the case no matter who we put back there. Pitchers are going to have to work a little harder at keeping runners close.

No doubt. We just get spoiled with reloading. Like Hollander > LeMahieu > Nola > Bregs (ib4hcb)

It should be ok to lurk from Feb - April, as only the Boxtards/Boxfans/Alec's Army/Situational Bunts are around for those games. But starting in May, I guess spring football is over and many of the helmet heads show up.

Why are people that don't like baseball SO hung up on letting everyone in the world know they don't like it?

Why don't you just go back to the football threads that are everywhere?

If this had been Bama can you imagine the write up from Larry? "Bama baseball players into cross dressing?"
