Tony Gonzalez potential trade (real life)

I know this is very far fetched, but as a Tony G owner, I'd love to see him head up to Foxboro, GB or even KC. Without Julio or Roddy in ATL, he has been getting all of the attention and he's been sucking.
"Speaking late Monday night, Tony Gonzalez said he's open to a trade out of Atlanta.
Gonzalez was very clear that he won't ask for a trade, but said he would be OK if the 2-5 Falcons could ship him to a contender while getting a future asset. He added that he could see how that would be a "respectful" move from the organization considering he's chasing a ring and is in the final season of his career. However, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Tuesday morning that the Falcons stance "has not changed" and they are still saying that they won't trade Gonzalez by today's 4pm ET deadline. A team like the Chiefs would be wise to at least call Thomas Dimitroff and see what's what."

He should just retire mid season. If they're gonna frick him then he should frick them right back. Unless there's some huge contract consequence of it, what could he lose? Dudes been in the league forever and keeps coming back to get to the SB, not gonna happen with the Falcons this year

he would take a trade to KC and retire there. He would see a shite ton of targets in KC.

IF a deal were to happen, I'd bet on this. All likely hood is that it won't, but I would love the situation.

I don't see a trade happening.

Not sure why the Falcons WOULDN'T try to trade him. Get a pick or something. Principle?

Something like a 5th rounder is still better than nothing, which is what they are going to get when he retires.
