If anyone has or knows someone who would like to rent their camp or house for a weekend or four over the next 2-3 months...
I'd like to know...
ETA: If you happen to live or work down there, feel free to get me some ph numbers off of a few nice looking places... water access a plus.

Google Josh Ellendar, I think it's Light Tackle Charters. He hooked us up with a nice camp about 8 minutes from Jugs.

My old man may be willing to rent ours out...our boat is currently on the lift though, so probably no lift available but there is an extra slip.
Let me check with him and I'll get back to you. Know the dates specifically?

my dad said he'd also be willing to rent ours...not sure on a rate or anything.
ours is a two bedroom/two bath...one bedroom has a full/queen, the other has a bunk and a twin, also have a sofa sleeper. Water access to bayou dularge...5 minute no wake ride to Falgout.

Limited out on specs in 2.5 hours in dularge last week
20 min out from decade is all I'll say

Fished Friday and Saturday, caught 41 Friday around inlets on sister lake and South end of mechant was slow and had to work for them.
Decided to try and test the wind saturday which was a mistake and called it an early day with only 4. Was a tough weekend!

that sounds promising...
can I buy you a beer?
Seriously though... you know, I can't decide how much fishing info I even want... I WANT to catch fish, but I want some of the satisfaction that I found them too...
then again... catching is better than not...

Any tips...?
If I'm near Falgout Canal and want to go to Mechant, or Sister Lake, etc, should I go through Decade or is there a better way that I'm not seeing?
Got me knew little navigation machine that I'm looking forward to trying out

I would launch out of jugs at the end of 315 to fish mechant and sister lake. You'll be alot closer. I only launch out of falgout if im strictly fishing decade, sometime I'll launch there if im going to lost lake/bayou carencro area but usually go out of jugs as well then.

Our boat is stored at the falgout landing so we go across decade. Plus our camps on that side.
Specks weren't huge but still good sized.
Nope. Live close to there but I don't think we know each other
