I'm a Mannings hater, but I'd eat there for free. Do you live in the area or close by ? I'd hate to waste a dinning opportunity while visiting on Mannings.

Very okay in my opinion. Not good, not bad, just okay. However, the cheese and beer bisque wasn't on the menu the last time I went, so they swung a little bit shy of okay because that was probably my favorite thing on the menu.

You are going to overpay for the food and service provided.

Even though it is free? It can't be that fricking bad.

Unless money is no object, or you only get to visit Nola once a year, this is the answer.

There was a thread on Manning's in the last week or so, but I'm too lazy to search for it.

I thought the french dip wasn't too bad. It's different, but pretty tasty.

I wasn't shooting a dart at the OP when I said I was too lazy. I find threads quite often for folks if I know they're around. I was just too lazy at that moment. I hate the search on this board. I can't find things that I know are there quite often because a million other things come up to sort through.

Unless you're from out of town, just go to Manning's and get a burger and fries. I'm sure you've had a Big Mac before. It'll be better than that and it'll be free.

They had a buffet set up with an open bar. Gotta say it wasn't bad. Enjoying a nice Dewars then I'm hitting the rack.
