Not necessarily looking for 4-5 star places, but recommendations on good eats a couple of drivebros from NOLA can enjoy without going broke. Staying in the financial district but will be all over MANhattan

I gotcha... here are my favorite moderately priced eats in the city

- pearl oyster bar on Cornelia St in greenwich village... Lobster roll= mindblowingly good, a little pricier but worth every penny. Fun fact: Tony Soprano says it is his favorite restaurant in NY in a sopranos episode
- Felix's in soho for french bistro/people watching
- pizza... Joes on bleecker for the best slice in the city.. cheap as shite and close to a bunch of bars on MacDougal
- Ruby's on mulberry street in Nolita for incredible burgers, hot australian waitresses. Cheap as hell and $2 PBR during happy hour
- Meatball Shop - brooklyn, West Village, or lower East Side - Love this place, cheap, delicious, creative
- Rubirosa - Close to Ruby's on Mulberry. fricking awesome italian place... try the vodka sauce pie
- katz deli in LES - a classic, dont care if people think it is touristy. I still got there for pastrami all the time. Tip the meat guys for extra pickles

In NY a lot of places don't take reservations or credit cards so prepare accordingly.
