I am going to try my hand at making some spinnerbaits come winter. What is the best website to buy my supplies from? I heard jann's netcraft was solid, but they appear to be out of stock on many of the supplies I need. TIA.

i use jann's netcraft sometimes, u can order rolls of stainless steel wire of whatever diameter you want from different websites, also found several lead molds i like on ebay

I'm thinking about using the shafts with the heads attached for my first go around.

I have never made my own spinnerbaits. I am interested in the opinions here.

Good way to kill a winter. There are different levels of "making". I plan on doing the painting and customization of skirts, blades and beads.

i haven't poured my own heads yet either but plan on it soon, you can find a lot of ppl arguing over the best wire diameter if you look around the net enough, some claim thinner wire gives better vibration

I found this website last spring. Not sure if they have what you want but they have a lot of stuff.

I've never gone to the lengths of these other guys, but I rarely use spinner baits as they come from the package. Almost all willow leaf baits have a main blade anywhere from 1/2 to 1 size too big. I have even changed the second blades on a few. I repaint a lot also.

jann's netcraft
This is where I get all my lure making parts from, they usually have pretty fast shipping and so far haven't screwed up an order
