Tiger states the The ball is in the Golf Channel's court, or it's their move. IMG reiterated those sentiments. Obviously waiting on them to Fire Chamblee.

So is Tiger extorting TGC with limiting access to him? Sure looks that way.

I'm out of the loop, what's the scoop here? I'm not familiar with the situation.

Tiger Woods: When I was in the fourth grade, I cheated on a math test and when I got the paper back it had "100" written at the top and just below the grade, was this quote, "Oh, what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive!" It was an oft-quoted line from the epic poem "Marmion" by Sir Walter Scott, and my teacher's message was clear. Written once more beneath that quote was my grade of "100", but this time with a line drawn through it and beneath that an F. I never did ask my teacher how she knew I cheated and I certainly didn't protest the grade. I knew I had done the wrong thing and my teacher the right, but I never forgot the way I felt when I read that quote.

I remember when we only talked about Tiger's golf. I miss those days. He won five times and contended in majors and won the Vardon Trophy and ... how shall we say this ... was a little cavalier with the rules.*

I blame this on the PGA's asinine policy of people being able to call in and report penalties.

To answer your question no. Golf Channel = NBC

Golf Channel is in NBC's pocket, which is a little bit deeper than Tiger's pocket. They don't need him to survive

Maybe so, but if Brandel gets the ax, well, if it walks like a duck, hey, maybe Aflac is in NBC's pocket!

True. But not having to hear that little prick give his two cents, which you would pocket most likely, has been pretty great.

I hope he ends up working at a drivin range in texas, where he can tell all his old golf stories to some other dickhead that doesn't give two shits.

Screw bramble.

So Brandel called out Tiger for cheating. Good for him!!! Tiger has been CAUGHT cheating twice this year. He is a cheater. He's been cheating since year one when he got a dozen gallery members to remove the "moveable object" in front of his ball.

So it's aginst the law to speak the truth? Has Tiger been penalized several times this year or not? That is fact, and can not be disputed.

If El Tigre doesn't want people writing negative things about him, he should quit pushing the limit of the rules.

Nope. But it's not a smart career move to talk shite about their sport's highest ratings generator. They are, after all, in the ratings business.

I haven't watched the golf channel for a few weeks. After reading this, I think I might turn it on tonight.

So they've got my ratings just for not cowering down to Tiger. Now if they can Chamblee over this, they might lose my viewership.

This is ironic. Usually Chamblee can't get Tiger's dick out of his mouth long enough to put two sentences together. Now he criticizes Tiger for some things that Tiger actually did and he may lose his job for it? I wouldn't miss Brandel one bit but this would be the wrong reason to sack him.
