Given what happened last weekend with Oklahoma beating Texas Tech and S Carolina beating Mizzou, are we hoping for a rich-get-richer type of outlook or upsets within the top 6-7 teams?

Lot of big games next two weeks

Alabama - LSU (obviously)
Florida State - Miami
Oregon - Stanford
Baylor - Oklahoma

Don't know if we'd jump 2-loss teams in the U, Stanford, or Oklahoma, though I assume we would with a win over #1, but seriously doubt any of the top 6 teams drop below us with 1 loss. (MAYBE Baylor)

It's unfortunate #1 is out of the question at this point, but I'd like to see how far wins over Bama and aTm can propel us.

I will admit....at this point I'm in ABB mode (Anybody but Bama). More anti Bama than pro LSU. With 2 losses we are virtually out of it, our defense is suspect and the offense is not consistent enough to win it all. Bama fatigue has set in....

I agree, just want to beat bama. I would like to win out and go to a BCS game. Not looking to get to #2, there are too many things that have to happen and frankly we haven't played well enough for that. We don't matchup well against Oregon of Florida State.

I want everyone else to go undefeated to lock them out of the BCSCG. If all the other undefeated teams lose 1 game, Bama's back in it (like '11).

I've never felt closer to Auburn than I do for this season. It's just refreshing that SOMEBODY ELSE has a chance to knock them off the high horse this year.

I'd rather the SEC get shut out of BCSNC than see Bama. If they struggle against us and the Aubbies, FSU and OU may just jump them regardless (here's hoping)

How frustrating would it be for LSU fans to beat Bama again at home and they STILL go to the BCS championship game.

The amount of butthurt from the Bama obsessed LSU fans would actually make this somewhat comical. They already complain because Bama has so much of an "easier" schedule than LSU.

this....I want to lay waste to their season....I want LSU to carpetbomb their dreams....I want to see headsets fly and multiple sideline meltdowns.

as Conan said when asked what is best in life he replied, "to crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women" or their frat boys...whichever comes first.

get rested, get better, get ready...get even.

I can't believe that I am almost as passionate about having Bama lose than I am about LSU winning.

You know, just beating Bama isn't going to so anything if they don't lose another game. So really, we're not ruining anything unless quite a few other things happen.

That said, I hope we destroy them.

We can knock them out of the title game.

Even if LSU beats Bama, Bama still has a legit shot at reaching the NC game? They would just need to win out and have either Florida St. or Oregon lose.

Now that would SUCK!!!
