They are below average for some many years now. The media and radio told their fans they were spoiled and need to stop complaining. I wonder how the feel after today.

BTW. Taylor Martinez is the worst QB ever

They are suffering from the same issues Tennessee faces in the new college football

It'd be hard to win at Alabama with Taylor Martinez at QB

The problem wasn't firing Solich it was firing him to hire Bill Callihan.

Unfortunately, few on an LSU sports board will comprehend this.

At least one on this board can't tell the difference in Nebraska talent and LA talent

Coaching change coming at Nebraska. They have become irrelevant.

Whatever dude. There have been exactly one head close at LSU who is even close to Les Miles in RESULTS. The rest of the bullshite slung around is opinion and message board fodder.

His buyout ensures he aint going nowhere. Get used to it.

Spot on.

What coach would want to step into a job where a 10 win season would get you fired? That's exactly what happened to Nebraska. They were still considered an elite program, even with Solich, but firing him after a 10 win season sent a message to potential candidates that the Nebraska administration was unrealistic in their expectations.

You can hire a Bill Callahan. You can also hire a Jim Tressel or a Phillip Fulmer under similar circumstances.
