Is anyone else getting less excited as the new consoles approach?

I was excited for the release a few months ago and I preordered a Day One Xbone. Now, with the launch fast approaching, I am just not feeling it any more. I tend to game in fits and starts, and right now I am in a lull so that probably has a lot to do with it.

Has anyone heard the amount of the Day One editions that are going to be available? I was thinking of cancelling my preorder but it may be wise to resell it instead.

No.

Mainly because I am not remotely excited about either.

Maybe once some games I actually want start to appear, I might gain some excitement but for now, nope.

It's been pretty lax regarding advertising, so I'm not that excited yet. But in a few weeks I'll get more pumped.

Yeah, I'm not really feeling it right now with all the good games being released next year. I was a day one purchaser of Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii, but I'm not even remote
Y interested in the new systems at this point. I'll wait till Spring or Summer before I get them. I'm just going to get both.

I'm actually getting more excited the more I see from the games I'm getting.

The trailer for NBA 2K14 got me giddy for about 3 days, the stuff for Madden actually looks pretty good, Battlefield is going to be nice on there, and FIFA just released an amazing trailer today.

So yeah, my excitement continues growing the more I watch and read about the games I'm getting

Tha fuk?

Just imagine that moment you're pulling into the driveway from work and behind the smallest bush in your landscape you see a 'hidden' amazon box. This wouldn't excite you?

I was with you about a month ago. Had for the most part just stopped thinking about tONE. Recently I've been getting more excited though. Just wish one of Halo/Titanfall/Destiny was available at launch.

For the sheer sexual pleasure that is NBA 2k14, I will be increasingly more aroused as the time approaches.

Seriously, the smartest thing you can do is cancel that pre-order and wait it out to see how each does when they are released. Wait a few months once each is out and listen to the reviews and consumer reports to see which is the best buy, which has the worst bugs, and which has the best opening games.

Then decide which one to buy and if you actually want to play
