Saw this on SECR, but thought it correlates to LSU's attendance problems. Looked and didn't see it brought up here yet.
Is this something our administration is willing to do to send a message?

The University of Alabama suspended the block seating privileges of 20 student organizations Friday afternoon following a review of the student section during last week's game against Arkansas.
In the Student Organization Seating handbook, updated in July 2013, "excessive tardiness or early departure from the stadium" is listed as "unacceptable behavior."
According to the handbook, an organization's first offense would result in the loss of block seating for the next conference game and the second offense would result in the loss of seating for all remaining games.

As the should have. Have you seen the pics of their stadium? LSU fans think we have a problem with our student section...its NOTHING compared to Bama's. This is what it will come to though in the future if we continue down the same path.

This was for the Arkansas game
ETA - Good on Alabama for doing this. I wish LSU would do this, honestly. Not permanently, of course. But to scare the students into staying for the entire game.

we must protect our chicken bowl titles from alabama. they have to copy us all the time. We discover saban, years later they get him. We start leaving early, they do it years later. Soon they will take our not top 10 clock mistakes and our chicken bowls.
