LINK

Here are the first two paragraphs.

quote:

Cracking the top eight in the Western Conference will be hard, but the Pelicans are one team that could do it. They have to stay healthy and get a lot out of Jrue Holiday and Eric Gordon. They're one of those teams that could have a great year if everything falls into place.

Anthony Davis is a budding superstar. He reminds me of Tim Duncan. He's that same kind of calm leader. He's not one of those Hollywood guys. There's nothing spectacular to him, but he does everything: He has unbelievable hands and great length, he can pass and shoot, he blocks shots and rebounds. He's getting that little extra confidence to where he can take over the game.

I'm still standing by my 47 wins prediction.

I hate how that scout used no nicknames the entire article... No Pels. No Pellies. No Cans. No fun.

It would be hard to complain about that.

Nothing spectacular? Eh. To each their own.

Personally, I think his quickness and skill is pretty damn amazing at that size. But whatevs.

I'd say his wingspan is spectacular.

I could name 5 things that I think are above average right now for Davis. That is pretty spectacular to me.

Carrie Underwood's legs aren't spectacular, but they have a chance to be above average after a disappointing 2012.

Can we give up the "omg someone said 'pretty good' lol how hilarious" bit? It's tired.

I think the odds of that term's continued use for the foreseeable future are . . . pretty good.

"Nothing spectacular, but he could lead the league in scoring one day and be as good defensively as KG"
