Had Saints played Sunday, it would have been difficult for TE Jimmy Graham to play with his foot injury. Status for Sunday vs BUF uncertain.

This might not be such a horrible thing. Brees tends to focus too much on him at times. It would be a good chance to work on some of our other receivers and get the run game going.

I have a feeling he'll play as we need him.

Well, it's one of our easier games, at least.

On paper.

I don't think we do for this game. Buffalo is like 28th or something in run defense. I think we can have full control of this game if we stick to the run game.

I think we'll need him for the Jets. Geno Smith isn't half bad, and their defense is mean.

I hopes he's able to go, people are really underestimating the Bills.

I think Watson is a capable backup so imo no reason to rush him back.

Rest him. Focus on the run and give Robinson at least fifteen carries.

Completely agree. I relate it back to 2011 when Sproles went down. This team finds something they like and works, we tend to stick with it until we're obviously forced from it. Hopefully this makes us a little more balanced and gets the WRs more involved. They seem almost non-existent in this offense

It's never a good thing in the NFL when one of your best players is out. That said, I agree that it was getting to the point where it seemed as if 80% of the passes were going to either Graham or Sproles. I understand that those guys present massive mis-matches for opposing defenses, but when this offense is clicking, the ball is being spread around to everybody. If a defense is making a concerted effort to shutdown Graham, then there are other guys who should be open.

I find no positive in Graham being out, if that's the way it turns out. None.

A guy who got you to 6-1 being hurt spun into a positive... Who knew?
