He is the head coach and ultimately bears responsibility but he's doing what he can

- We needed a big name DC, he went out and got one

- We needed a big name OC, he went out and got one

- We needed a real QB, he went out and got the best JUCO player available.

- He's brought in the best recruits we've ever seen.

I believe he's done everything to fix what is glaringly wrong. I don't know what else he should be doing differently. People leaving for the draft early is not his fault. Recruiting 5 star players is always a double edged sword that way.

I'm pissed about the loss, but I just can't blame Miles for all of it. A large part of this is just circumstances after the draft.

Is that why he looks lost on the sidelines this year?

He is responsibly, but without ANY accountability, what good is responsibility? It means nothing without accountability, and he has ZERO accountability. He loves his family and his job and is rich. Aside from that, he is just fine when we loose. I really believe that. When you are immune from accountability, and even sometimes get contract extensions and raises when you fail, why would you change?

He always looks lost on the sidelines. Even when we win. It doesn't bother me as much.

Great points.
He can do whatever he wants.
Not sure he earned it with that one BCSNC but our expectations are to have a nice program that can "compete". The expectations are not to have a dominating program that crushes and wins rings.
Just the way it is.

We get to flirt with the hot girl at the bar, but lack the ability to bring her home and bang her.

The last couple years he hasn't recruited well enough to replace those guys. Our overall talent level is decreasing yearly.

Accountability is fine but I think people are expecting him to create a Bama like dynasty that never slows down with attrition. It's a bit unfair for 2 reasons

1. Saban is on another level. Nobody can keep up with him

2. LSU was not a dynasty when Saban was here. We were about as good as we are now.

I wonder why at least one of the Coordinators are not on the sideline...Miles wants to play CEO but calls coming from the pressbox to the field has been an issue for a while..

This is where i fault Miles. He doesn't recruit well on his own team.

But i agree with the rest. BUT it is his fault. LSU played a very wounded team with everything in front of them and the team did not show up. And its not the first time. 1/9

What? So if he never won the sec you think he'd still be our coach? And if he was how is he to blame. Let's not forget Bert an hired him and alleva has kept him. I think.ur dog in this fight is with the board. Not Les.

Miles should get the blame. But he should also get blamed for 91 wins.

I think this is a bit unfair. We lost some pretty big names to the draft. Mingo and Montgomery have been the hardest to replace. The d line is so soft right now.

Again, people, including myself take a gander at Bama and think wow, they never seem to lose a step. But it's the wrong trap to fall into. We were never at that level and quite frankly, nobody else is.

I'd rather take 3 and low 4 stars that bleed for this team and stay their full time than all 5 stars that leave early.

I don't think our recruiting's been as good as it could have been over the past few seasons. Too many big time losses--especially La. boys.

We are better. If saban wasn't at bama, no one would question miles. Saban dumped us, y'all act like a disgruntled so.

So why didn't FSU suffer from NFL losses?? Plus having a Fr QB?? Or how bout what Saban loses yearly with regards to players AND coaches?? Face it, no excuses work anymore for Miles. He was extremely fortunate to get the gig, and parlayed a full cupboard and more luck into a BCS title. Once the cupboard went 100% to him, and the luck faded, so have the NC. Saban now has a solid foot hold in La for the upper level recruits. The fan base is growing more apathetic yearly toward Miles because he is here for 6 more years. Apathy is worse than losing. And so it begins.
