1 thing I did like from last night...

During the 4th quarter, Welter was benched for Louis. And Louis actually made an impact from the MLB spot. 
2nd time hes been benched for Louis in crunchtime. Happened in the Miss St game too.

only to be returned to the bench for the next game while welter t bob hebert-esque barrel rolls into 4 assisted tackles 15 yards downfield

Did i say we shut them down in the 4th?? Nope. All i said was that when Louis got in the game he made multiple nice plays, with 1 great hit on a pass play. He had the athleticism to get from the MLB spot out to the flats and crushed the guy.
And all we gave up in the 4th was a FG.

Louis plays the whole game we probably win. Gotta think he makes at least one of the tackles that Welter missed, and that would have been the difference.

It is absolutely ridiculous that it took 7 and 3/4 games for the coaches to see what America saw in game 1!

Quit blaming all of the defensive problems on Welter. There's plenty of blame to go around, starting with our defensive line.

I thought he only played like a play or 2 after Allen went down. and I think they're pretty specific about only playing him in obvious passing downs in the mustang, to spell a starter. he's like 5th in the DE rotation. not saying he shouldn't be higher, but I really didn't see him getting much more time there maybe Furman or after the bye.
I'm curious as to whether they're still practicing him at both spots.

How many 3rd and longs did we have where a missed tackle led to a 1st down, 7 or 8? Is it possible that he could have made a tackle where Welter didn't? Sure.
