Roddy White (ankle/hamstring) and Steven Jackson (hamstring) have been ruled out and will be inactive in Week 7.
It's as expected. Neither player practiced this week, and White's consecutive games played streak will finally come to an end after he unsuccessfully played through an early-season high ankle sprain before straining his hamstring in Week 5, prior to Atlanta's Week 6 bye. Fantasy owners should still try hanging onto White for a potential late-season impact, even if there are no guarantees of production. There is just so much opportunity in Atlanta's pass-catching corps after Julio Jones' year-ending foot injury.

Revis isn't going to be on him the entire game.

Revis will probably just take Douglas completely out of the game

I understand if you're desperate but if you have a decent option I'm not sure I'm getting cute

With Damarco and Shorts out, I am going with Jaquizz and Douglas. Should be interesting

From what I understand, Revis doesn't shadow the opponent's best receiver. I think he just plays a side.

"Well he is being used, often times, in man-to-man coverage," Greg Schiano said yesterday. "Whether the whole coverage is man-to-man or just him taking a guy out of the play man-to-man, most fans won't be able to figure that out by watching it. We do use his skills differently than some other guys because he has the ability to cover one-on-one. Does he do it every snap? No, there are times where you give him a breather and let him play zone, but there aren't very many."

I only watched TB vs the Saints and a little against philly, so i can't say for sure. I know he wasn't on DJax full time in that philly game.

But we are talking about Harry Douglas here

Haha yeah I meant to edit my post to say that it shouldn't be difficult covering 2 receivers.

Should I flex him over MJD and Mathews?

According to SI's Greg Bedard, Darrelle Revis played only two snaps of man coverage in the Bucs' Week 6 loss to the Eagles.
The Bucs are using Revis as a zone corner, making their coverage looks predictable and susceptible to a quarterback like Philly's Nick Foles. Understandably, Tampa Bay has caught a lot of heat for using Revis in a way that does not play to his strengths. It's an important note to remember for fantasy wide receivers facing the Bucs going forward. Revis isn't shutting anyone down because Tampa isn't giving him the opportunity to shut anyone down.

I would be really surprised if they played Revis 1on1 with Douglas. There is just no reason to. Douglas has as much clout as the two no-names the falcons pulled off the street to play WR.

If he covered anybody 1 on 1, I would think that he would cover Tony G 1 on 1.

Douglas does average 1 TD per season in his career.

Pretty much everything is fricked in the ATL, with the exception of gonzo. Wait a week & gonzo will be to.
